Halloween Jewelry

Just a little bit of a change today...I decided to post jewelry instead of art.

This is a piece that is made of copper and brass metal stampings. Makes the perfect halloween gift! http://norahz.etsy.com/

Altered Books & Journals

journal, originally uploaded by Abstract Art.

I always like to carry around small books while traveling about to sketch in or jot down notations.

This particular book was altered by adding canvas, leather, pages from maps, lace, and tags on to the front and back cover of book.

I decided to paint the cover in bright colors, and abstract designs to give the book life. Turquoise bird was added to the front of the book.

This journal has ruled pages, and may be used for jotting down notes. Measures 3x4.5
